It'll be nice to see what world builders come up with in the next year or so. So many people are not ready to move to TS4 and I imagine we'll see some great stuff!
bekkasan, you have to be VERY careful when moving files around. You don't want to accidentally overwrite your beloved game by accident!
I keep a separate folder on my desktop for each project, then just drag and drop the whole 'The Sims 3' files into them. So I have one called 'MY SIMS 3 FOLDER!!!' which is my main playing folder. Don't want to overwrite that one! :XD:
It would be a good idea to back up your important folders to a separate disk or USB, or just have a back-up somewhere safe and out of the way.
The CAW program automatically uses whichever The Sims 3 folder is installed (in the documents ---> Electronic Arts folder).
If you take out the The Sims 3 folder from documents and run the launcher, it generates a brand new folder. You can just install the stuff you need.
I can't stress how important it is to be careful when moving files!!! Don't delete anything until you are 100% sure you don't need it. And backup backup backup!!! :lol:
