- So redownload the AM. That should do the trick.
- Have you updated the Sims 3 to the newest version too?
You need the newest versions of both the game and of awesome mod too. - Gymnastics:: It's only because they truly believe that they are "More Awesome Than You" and also they believe every living soul should know everything there is to know about computers.

Not quite. But they DO believe that you should read the install instruction and their FAQs first instead of just going on to ask questions that they have already answered.

I saw that you wrote something about a confused 12 year old. But obviously you didn't know Pescado's opinion of other people's children which he once explained this way to me: "I think that disliking other people's children is just normal. There is no reason why you should like them. They are wild creatures!" :D
Then, I was called stupid. :LFantaaOrange wrote:
Then you didn't read the following description of Awesome Mod: "This content is not suitable for those under 18."
I'm the 12 year old girl. :L- Hmm, well, I don't have Awesome Mod, but if you are unable to fix it yourself, you could try going to Sublime Sims. saraswati and Skadi are very nice, use AM themselves and will do their best to help you.
The link to their site is: http://www.sublimesims.net/
You will have to register on their forum to post your question.
Barring that, you will have to do a MANUAL uninstall and then reinstall your game. Make sure you do the manual uninstall, otherwise traces of the mod could be left behind and you will have the same problem. Oh, and you will not be able to keep your save games, as they have been saved with the mod. You should always back up your save files before installing ANY mod, just in case this happens. I think that the Flagrant System Error has something to do with old CC which isn't compatible with the newest versions of the game or Awesome Mod.
Please, help me. All I want is to be able to play the Sims 3 again, and I can't until I update Awesome Mod. :(- Simjett, then I advise you never to go to MATY even though there is not a game issue that they cannot solve as nobody knows how to fix a Sims game like Pescado. The fact they do not tolerate people who know nothing about pcs is a known fact and they personally do not care if you ever go to their site. If you want answers to problems about your game, I assure you you can find it on MATY, but you cannot be dumb enough to go there and ask when you do not even have to join the site to get any and all info they have there - but you do have to read and understand the pc because they have no tolerance for people who use a pc and know nothing about it.
They are super geeks and have that site as a place they all hang out. You are just an uninvited guest who just might find any solution you need if you lurk and search - just don't open your mouth, as they also have no tolerance for bad spelling, improper punctuation, bad sentence structure and a whole host of other things they don't tolerate.
Just think of yourself as an uninvited visitor to someone elses home, because unless you are one of their respected cohorts or other well-known hackers and modders, they actually really don't care what you think or have to say.
Me I respect them for their vast knowledge and even though I've been a long time member of the site I rarely ever post anything there. I just read and learn.
But I assure you they are not there to help or teach you, but if you are visiting, you can and will learn a lot and you'll actually understand what you learn if you learn a lot more about the pc you are using.
But your saying you would not go there because they treat people a certain way - keep in mind they don't care about YOU anyway or whether or not you go there. MATY has never been known as people friendly and I don't suspect that will ever change. They don't just think they are "more awesome than you" history has proven they are more anwesome than just about anybody anywhere. What's more they have answers on both the right side of the laws as well as those on the other side, but you need to find the answers yourself - period. FantaaOrange wrote:
I don't whether I'm allowed to post this but please, I really need help!
I downloaded Awesome Mod just over a month ago, and then I went a few weeks without playing The Sims 3. I went back on it a few days ago, and it said that Awesome Mod had expired and that I needed to update at More Awesome Than You. However, when I asked for help there all I got was insults thrown at me because I was 'stupid', apparently.
I have cleared my cache, I have deleted all my .package files, I have removed all files concerning awesome mod from my computer... but when I download the new version and place it in my Packages folder, I start the game and it STILL comes up with the Flagrant Error message, and it doesn't allow me to play the game until Awesome Mod is updated. I've tried everything. Please help me! Thank you very much. (:
I've had the Flagrant Error, and was advised (by the people over there) that it was pretty bad case of it (one or more of my saved games were corrupted, so deleting cache files and custom content was pointless) and I should just reinstall. I saved all of my cc and saved games and reinstalled, and it fixed my problem completely (and my game seemed to run much better than before).
As far as the people over there, yeah, they are harsh. It's nothing a tough skin can't handle (keep in mind that these people eat and sleep and excrete just like any other freakin' human being on the planet -- they are no better than anyone else), but it honestly is best if you have at least basic computer knowledge (which you need anyway...if you're gonna use the thing, why not know a little about it...?) and a decent grasp on the English language. If they knock you for something, try to let it roll off your back. Most of them wouldn't say those things in a person's face, so whatever. Like Writing Reg said, though, you can learn a lot there.
