Getting twins without the Fertility Treatment reward?

Does anyone know if our sims can have twins without buying the Fertility Treatment lifetime reward? I try not to buy it because than if my sims have babies, they always pop out twins or triplets and with Bridgeport, I'm not going to create huge families because that's what I did in SV and TB and pretty soon everyone in my town was some how related, haha, so I had to play creator and kill some of them off so that npc's could move in.

    try your female sim listening to the kids station's on the stereo/watching kids channel on TV. But don't try FT, Kids' Channel and listen to their station all at once-since that's 100% to get you triplets.

    This is correct. Listening to the kids station and watch the kids channel can increase your chance for twins and triplets. (by alot) However, sims do have a slight chance to have them on their own. My second pregnancy in the game was twins and a hadn't done anything...so I know it does happen occasionally.

    I had two different sim familys that both had twins with no help from anything. Glad they didn't have the fertility thing - what am I gonna do with three kids? It's not like the old game play where they could move out and you could play them - or have I missed something?

    I got twins by listening to kids radio and watching kids tv at the same time without the fertility treatment. Also If I remember right if your sim was born as a twin in-game the chances of a multiple birth increase slightly.

    you can just move them out to another house, getting twallens master controller is a easy way to just click on a sim andd change houuseholds

    It's just the luck of the draw. Did you save early on in the pregnancy? If so, you can try going back to that save point to try again.

    I get my sims to read pregnancy books, listen to the kids radio, watch kids tv and dance to the kids radio. Throughout the pregnancy. I think it only is really necessary until she knows she's pregnant but I'm not sure of that so I keep her going all the way from TFB to birth.
