It's not as great as it sounds haha, but it sure as heck beats the 9-5 grind, and I got into it when working towards my associates degree in business admin, and one of the required courses was public speaking, well I aced the class so hard that someone approached me about my the range I can hit with my speaking voice, and he had a connection with a local girl who was trying to break into voice acting for anime, and asked if I'd train her, and I did, and once she got a small gig she kindly gave me a referral, and I just kind of went from there. I don't do voice acting myself, I just assist the real ones lol.
And the most famous person I've met has nothing to do with voice acting lol, but I've met Rob Schneider, who idk if he did any voice acting, but I know he's an actor lol
Plus I only work once a year lol (edit)
Sounds great. Working only one day a year and doing something exciting and that I assume you enjoy.
Good for you. :D
