- I use all the Seasons, as for my Life Cycle baby 3 days, Toddler depends on how long I want to keep um t's. CHild is usually longer then Toddler, I don't do Teens send them away to boarding school. Adult/Young I usually have them for a long time and elders too. I don't change the Moon cycle to much I am not into Supernaturals although I have that EP. I try to make the seasons longer especially the ones I like the best SUmmer, Autumn, SPring.
- I disable the moon cycle to stay at first quarter, since I hate those zombies. I use all seasons and if I am playing in beach or farming world, I make the summer longer . I make babies 3 days, but sometimes grow them up sooner if they are annoying. All other ages I leave at default. I disable all the supernatural people like werewolves from my towns as well as pets and wild horses.
- I had to disable the moon cycle and my seasons are 15 days each.I set pregnancies for 30 days and babies get 60 days while toddlers have 120 days as toddlers.I give children 360 days though I have to fudge on their aging to make it work and kids get 180 days before aging up.The next stage gets at least 360 days and the adult stage gets at least twice that and the elder stage gets 360 days or more.
I might try turning the moon cycles on once I get the no zombies Mod in and see if it really removes them because I don't want that showing up in every game. - I keep mine on default, but I recently put the graphic settings on low because I thought it'd run a bit faster. It does, and the graphics really don't look awful on low.
- I got rid of all of my EPs/SPs for the sims 3 so now all I play with is the base game. My settings are at 50 sim days for their lifespan.
- LittleSquidInk11 years agoNew SpectatorI make babies last for 2-3 days, toddlers for 5, kids for 7, teens for 7, young adults and adults between 19-25, and elders for 7-10. I like to play generations, so I don't want my sims to be around for too long. Though, I have adjusted lifespans for sims I do really like.
When I play with Supernatural, I keep the moon cycle on it's normal length, I like the changes that it brings about to the sim world. - Babies: 3 days
Toddlers: 11 days
Kids: 21 days
Teens: 21 days
YA: 56 days
Adult: 56 days
Elder: 21 days
I usually play with all the seasons but it really depends on what town I'm in. Like I never play winter in Lucky Palms.
And my moon phase is always set to New Moon because I hate having zombies in my game. - Hythiescrapdash11 years agoNew AceMy play style is perhaps a bit odd.
Moon I set manually, doesn't cycle on it's own.
Summer is set to max, spring and winter get about 8 days. Don't play Autumn as the leaves are a pain.
Story Progression tends to be off unless I really don't care much for any residents.
Ageing is off.
Ages are set to high for everyone, toddlers get about 20 days, kids 28, teens 35, young adults 60. The exception is babies and elders, they get lower. (Don't ask me why I do this when I age everyone up manually anyway!)
I've never played the default age settings, just doesn't seem long enough to do anything. - nh665011 years agoSeasoned AceI left lifespan on default except for babies which I shortened .The baby phase is so boring, that's why.
The seasons are default except for Lucky Palms and Sunlit Tides, which I have left on summers only.
I disabled the lunar cycle because I do not want supernatural beings in my game for now. - I use whatever the highest settings are for everyone. LOL
Makes me pissed off when it comes to babies but gives the babies time to actually bond with their parent's. LOL
