I have a playable mermaid and for some reason she and none of the NPC mermaids have visable tails. They move their legs as in the tail animation underwater but sim like a normal sim above the surfac...

All i had to do was look in the mirror on my game and change her scale colour then i walked into the sea and after i few seconds she had a tail. Hope this helps xx :)
