Custom Mermaid Tails

I have various CC mermaid tails within my game (merpeople are my absolute favourite occult in the game).

Some of my favourite custom tails within the game are some beautifully designed ones modelled off Ariel and her sisters from the live action Little Mermaid movie. However, unlike the other tails I have in my game these ones are only specifically selectable for sims with a female frame.

Would there be anyway of making these tails available for male framed sims in my game? Apologies if this sounds like a stupid question, my knowledge of modding is barely non existent
