- SimplyJen12 years agoSeasoned AceYou can retire in TS3. Read about it here: http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Pension
- mariefoxprice8312 years agoSeasoned AceI think you can only choose retire if they are doing the same job they did before they reached Elder status. Then they get the pension. If they have started the job since becoming an Elder, they can only "Quit Job" and don't get the pension.
- IreneSwift12 years agoSeasoned AceThe retirement option should be on the workplace too, not just the phone.
- How strange, the retirement option should be there... check all the options: phone, work place, even talking face to face with your boss. If it's still not there, it may be broken somehow. What job are you in? Independant/self employed careers are not available for retirement :? Hope it works! :)
- I think it was Ambitions, but you should be able to go to City Hall and "Register as Retired". You won't get a pension, but you also won't keep getting wishes/opportunities to get a job.
