  • Hi,

If you have not done so already, it is advised that you turn on Advanced Rendering from the Graphics Settings screen in the game options. Once the option is enabled, you will need to quit and relaunch the game for it to take effect.

For the best game performance and stability, it is also highly recommended that you have the laptop use the NVidia dedicated GPU to play the game instead of the Intel integrated GPU (which is significantly slower and underpowered). For more information on how to set the GPU preference you can check out the following thread:

Ensure you are operating the laptop on a flat surface in a room with a cool temperature. If you have not done so already, invest in a laptop cooling pad available at any computer hardware store. When necessary, use a small vacuum device to dislodge dust accumulation from the intake and exhaust vents. You can also bring the laptop to a computer shop and have it professionally cleaned. When playing the game on the laptop, do so with the power cord plugged in. Ideally, the general operating range of video devices is about 45-65 degrees Celsius. You may also wish to download and install Speedfan, a popular freeware application that can monitor your GPU and system temperatures during gameplay.
  • Hi,
Thank you for your advice unfortunately it hasn't workes ..the advanced renedering it was on and I only have the nvidia Gforce gtxn670mx and the laptop is assus g75vx...so the link didn't work for me.This is crazy!!
  • the specs should be good. What is the in game resolution. Did you try to increase the resolution? AS you increase the resolution the graphics chip will work harder and that means more power and heat. Are you playing the game with the power brick plugged in? What is the native resolution of the screen? You may need to increase the anti aliasing (AA) but again the higher the setting the more power and heat and that could mean a performance hit. Are you using third party items?

To post pictures to this forum you need to use a third party photo sharing serve like photobucket.com then link to the pix.
  • Hi

The native resolution is 1920-1080 it's on high(native). And yes i play it with the power brick plugged in.I did all that i vas supposed to do but nothing works
  • Have you checked the AsusTEK website for the latest NVidia drivers for your specific laptop model? Having the most up to date video drivers is especially important when adding a game expansion or update. Another thing to try is to reset the NVidia driver settings back to their factory defaults before relaunching the game, which can be done via the NVidia control panel. If the issue persists, adjusting the "Texture Filtering Quality" setting to High Quality in the NVidia control panel may also help.
  • Try setting the in game (game, options) resolution to 1024X768 and see if that helps. Are the items third party? Did you get the store patch Should have. Don't set the resolution in the device driver set it in the options page of the game. I have seen this problem posted a few times but I don't think anyone posted a solution. If you move the sim to another area does the problem change (I'm thinking Seasons fog)?
