Sims 3 Shop is Outdated

I still very much like the sims 3 and think it along with 2 were the very best of all of the sims.. don't get me wrong, S4 is pretty, but they really got it right with the sims 3

This is so funny as I was just on their Sims 3 Store for the past few days.  I am determined to buy up what I can before they go obsolete.  I just chatted with their help on getting my simcity 4 game added to the EA app and they couldn't do it because they don't offer the Simcity 4 deluxe anymore.  They referred to Simcity 4 as a "sunset" game so I am guessing they think that the sims 3 is a "sunset" game as well.  I also noticed that the sale says it ends in 2016 🤣

Those cases look like they belong in "Anything Goes".

rma209  Sure, some of the sales aren't really sales at all, but that's what happens when nothing ever gets updated.  The overall point stands: there are ways to get a lot more for your points, and people can help if you're interested.  And on balance, I think the sale prices are very good; they're just not as consistently good as we might want.

As many people have said, I'm glad the Store is still up at all.

For a minute there I thought you were complaining about the fashion being outdated, as in the old suitcases ... would have been awkward, wondering whether its like a Christmas cracker joke or something like that.

Yeah what puzzlezaddict said. Not to fret, it'll come round again according to the Rotation List. The whole thing's been left on repeat, you see.

When I was a lass ... not quite, but back in around 200 ... 8, 9 or 10 was it? When Sims 3 was launched, the Sims 2 site got completely closed soon after. Its been a few years now since Sims 4 launched, we're doing well to still have The Store and our My Page's still there, as neglected and 'outdated' as they are. I think we should whisper, in case it reminds anyone if it was on their to do list to close it. Or maybe like Clueless behaved to Long John after he scared them into untying him and say things like "you're a good EA, a kind EA, a handsome EA ... and precious ... and beautiful ... " (Muppet Treasure Island).

Thats great but a sale of 0% is not a good look for EA. Tho I imagine they do not care anymore.
