Sims as decor?

That is a scary concept :s

Have you seen the movie House Of Wax..whole town is just Wax figures positioned in windows businesses etc.That little girl staring out the window is not real.

To be honest though there are 2 mods great for any community lot.One Is just a tiny ivy plant can place as many as you want it creates a generic role and real sims visit every day every hour it is open if you want.Have a bar for example name the NPC role 1 "Barfly" role 2 "Town drunk" role 3 "Local" etc.They are real sims and not mannequins and show up in random clothes.Super easy to setup after placing the ivy decor your lots won't SEEM full they WILL be full.

Forgot to add an important trick to busy venues.How you populate your town also determines community traffic.By this meaning adding larger number in a few homes.A house with 6 members or seven for example if one of those sims vistis lot X the other household crew travels in tow.So make like a few households bigger with random sims could call it a Sorority house fill it with seven girls for example if girl A goes to the bar B,C,D,E,f, and G will show up there too or the majority anyway.

Have a mix of 3 couples in the same house 3 guys 3 girls and same thing if one shows up most likely all 6 will be at your club,bar,dance club,bistro whatever.

You do not need 60 extra sims in town just make like 3 houses with many sims in them.If you want to really tweak it personality drives them to certain destinations.Have a house of 6 bookworm nerds expect to see them at the library all hanging out.A bunch of jocks and cheerleaders you threw in a house with the athletic trait will be pulled to go to the gym.

Reminds me of the spooky audience they used for Showtime. Those faceless creatures that seem to have come straight out of a horror movie.

Reminds me of the staff they give me at work to train too early in the morning sometimes. I'll just walk out of the training room when finished and say something like "Okay, that was great. Now where are the real staff who needed attention and training?" ;)

Ah, the mannequin challenge but with Sims! As awesome as it might sound, it most likely be full of routing issues, as your Sim tries to get thru them.

Thank you for your help. Ya I guess it would be creepy but...... for example , I built a hospital and uses rabbit hole rugs so that my medical Sims would use it. I would like to see a fake Sim at the desk for the patients. Maybe some sitting in the waiting room and a few lying in the hospital beds for realism. I want to build a office and school . but again I would like to have some stand ins standing by lockers ect. I once saw something like that on tumblr last year but I was scrolling and did not notice if it was Sims 4 or Sims 3.

@yesme88 Is this for filming or just for playing? There's an animator mod that you can use to have sims do things like sit at a desk or lie in a bed, even townies or NPCs. Here's the link to the mod and you can find lots of custom animations on YouTube and a few elsewhere.

For the Role Sim acting as a receptionist or desk nurse, there is also Arsil's Custom Role Sim mod.

Arsil's mod is very awesome. The downside is that not always they stay in their place. for example in my hospital the receptionist hang out with the nurse at the nursery and almost didn't sit at the desk at all... perhaps there is a creative solution to keep them in place.. but anyway I really recommend this mod.
