- NRaas MasterController can be used to Totally Annihilate (TA) any sims who are already in your game. If you want to empty out a world of some or all of its original inhabitants, this would be the command to use.
NRaas StoryProgression lets you control ongoing Immigration, both in terms of number and where the newly arriving sims actually come from (your household bin, distant relatives of existing sims with some of their genetics but not really on their family trees, brand new sims). SP Immigration is totally off by default and needs to be activated if you want any kind at all.
NRaas Register allows you to control where Role sims, the NPCs who are assigned objects around town such as bars, cash registers, styling stations, come from and whether they should be residents or homeless. Service Sims, the ones who come to your sims' house to perform services like maids, babysitters, the one who delivers the mail, are a little trickier to control and tend to be the blandest of all of them. - Oh, but if all you want is to stop the game from moving sims into particular houses, you could designate them as (Player) Ownable in Edit Town. And/or pull out the fridge. Sims will never move into a house that has no refrigerator.
- LaBlue031410 years agoSeasoned AceYes if you go to that site look for their Story Progression mod. It will turn off EA's, and do a 100% better in what a story progression is suppose to do. The only NPCs that will move in will be those needed for jobs such as mixologist (if you have Late Night), register workers and so on. It will keep your current families from moving out (AKA being deleted by the game). But you won't get any new families moving in, unless you set it for this, every thing is in your control.

You'll need at least the Base-Mod. All the others are just extras, for other story progression related stuff. I would also suggest getting the Extra module as well.
If you go to the link on that page that has FAQ, it will answer many of your questions as well.
http://nraas.wikispaces.com/StoryProgression+FAQ - I would use NRaas for story progression and use customized settings as well as rezoning empty houses to community lots to keep sims from being moved in.I've got story progression so heavily customized with the settings and castes for each household that I can switch families in the game and play an entire town.I don't get new sims moving into town unless I went into edit town and chose a family to move into town manually.

That sounds like a TS4 answer. This was a TS3 question. :)- EA_Rtas7 years ago
