I was looking at cyberpower for you on newegg but I could not find a factory one compatible to the asus I posted. Or you can go on the cyberpower web and do a custom computer
I have a laptop like this and I love it but i's a little over what you posted as far as price. Mine was a little more than this one. Still looking. This laptop has better processor and more ram than the desktop I posted which a laptop should since desktop games better than laptops

The desktop I posted after tax and if you want extended warranty will probably be $1000. I don't want to go to over your price unless you want to
@phoebebebe13 Sorry for asking noob questions but does the laptop use windows? And could if I wanted in the future expand the ram of the desktop?
yes both the laptop and the desktop use windows. You can always add more ram in a desktop but not while there is a warranty or it might be voided. I have a laptop similar to the one I posted only I have 16gb ram and a higher video card. I can add ram to my laptop once the warranty is up but the ram is very expensive in a gaming laptop. 16 gb ram is more than fine with the sims. 12gb ram should be fine too. even 8 gb ram is fine but I prefer more ram!
If you want to go over your price of $1000 I could find you a better desktop with more ram and maybe even a better or equal video card. This all depends what you want to spend. When you add more ram or a better video card expect to up the price of the computer.- deleted
- now my next question is , is that including tax. ? just example my computer was around 1400 and wound up at around 1600 after tax . I think I would have to go back and look I forgot.
- like this the card is overkill for the sims but still good. 16gb ram , 1tb hard drive i5 processor . This is if you don't want to make your own like AxelTaylor01.
You would have to put it in your cart and see what will happen with taxes. Still looking

- overkill means you don't need that high of a card to play the sims 3 but if you can why not!
I was just helping someone in the forum with the specs of that computer I just posted to you. - @phoebebebe13 Whats the difference between this desktop and that laptop?

the desktop I posted for about the same price as the laptop would be better. The desktop has a better video card and more ram. The desktop will game better than a laptop always. And as AxelTaylor01 posted we could look on the company's direct web. You won't have to pay tax if you dont live in Cali on their product and you get free shipping.
@AxelTaylor01 Now I sound like a salesperson LOL- deleted
- @AxelTaylor01 Im not finding anything on their web that is factory that compares to the one on newegg with the 970 card. I found one with less with a 960 card but it is the same price as newegg so if I were op I would go for the 970 card with 16gb ram if it falls in op's price range
