400 The Watcher Watches: Max & Faelie ~~ The Contenders ~~


Faelie and Max wake from their peaceful nap. (We're still here to see if anyone falls sick and needs a doctor, lol.) Alfie had called Faelie to say that the Town Counsil had approved Faelie's philanthropic venture to start her 'Angel House' for girls and boys, for the homeless kids. Alfie himself had adopted 2 homeless kids, as did several other families in the town, including Rainflower taking in Mara and Zack, and Youngman taking in the McDuff kids, and Rocky taking in the Tesla sisters. But there is still a great need to house the other kids until a nice family comes forth to be a guardian, or adoptive parent.
Faelie is excited! Already Belinda and Danny have donated Belinda's family home, the Crumplebottom estate! Now Faelie just needs to secure a loving 'House Mother' for Angel House. Faelie takes this duty seriously as she is very maternal.

"Preacher, I see you were the first one to sign up as 'House Mother' for Angel House."
"Yes Faelie! oh I thought the title was Headmaster or Guardian, well nevertheless, a name by any other... indeed. Hm. I have experience being a parent myself, but also I must tell you, back then, I had shortcomings, and it was through my mistakes of doubting supernatural's and subsequently making poor Alfred go through such a tough time that I have learned to be so much better!! He had bestowed to me, the Blessing of the Fae, and I became one with all that is! It didn't last very long, it was reversed by Anya. But I Do remember that loving feeling and I want a chance to redeem myself, and give back to the community!"

"Just look over there, Faelie, they are probably plotting as we speak!" says Preacher. He should know, he still has to live with them because they refuse to move out of his house, because they found an ancient loophole in the law!

Sure enough, over by the beach towels and Carousel, stand Miriam and Octavio. They are snickering and flirting, plotting their newest evil plan!
"Just think how much money we would be able to charge to take care of the homeless kids! We will pad the books!" says Marian. "We should put bunk beds in all the rooms, so we can take in double the amount of kids, since each kid is worth several hundred per month! I say jam them in, to be running at full capacity!!" says Marian, gleefully.

"You are so brilliant, Mariam! I was thinking we should declare that Angel house is all vegetarian! We'll make all the kids do the gardening,
then they'll just be fed gruel, vegetables and fruit, and we will pocket the money designated for their food! And we need to remember to say we have back problems, so we don't have to sleep on horrid cheap beds, we'll buy the finest bed for ourselves and insist on the best linens because of our itchy skin! I know how you like the comfort of elegant silk sheets, sweetie." says Octavio.
''We should find out the designated house, to check out the accommodations. We can make a list of our many 'needs'...for 'the children' of course! heh heh heh"

The most wanted person for the role, is of course Cabana Boi. He has excellent training and references. Yet, He did not sign up, but was immediately offered the position, even before a Home was secured! He was the first they wanted to recruit by Counsil Members Alfie, & Dante, with a glowing recommendations from Aiden & Amelina and Oscar & Louise, should Cabana want to take it on.

"I know you've said before that you wanted to start up your own little restaurant. I don't want to stand in the way of your dream, Marigold. I'm happy as the school psychologist. As long as I'm with kids I'm happy...and You of course!"

"Well Marigold, whatever you want to do is good with me, you know that." They are both so aiming to please each other, they get nowhere fast! LOL but they like to discuss it between smooches and flirts. They act still in their honeymoon phase.
