402 The Watcher Watches: Max & Faelie ~~ Cont. Angel House ~~



It Looks like Leif has received a compliment! He is not used to that. He likes the feeling.
"Leif have you met Shanti? Shanti means Peace." Leif thinks Sian and Shanti look alike, he wonders if they are related.

Sian excuses herself to go talk with the great Dante, before he makes his famous exit. He usually does not stay long at parties, but he is very involved with Faelie's cause.

Sian and Shanti do look so much alike, it Is hard to tell them apart! Sian has freckles and lighter blue eyes, I should probably change hairstyles, so I don't get them mixed up!
Shanti has a definite instant liking to Leif. She seems very different from Cherish, and the best thing I like about her is her face doesn't go into a blank look between sentences, like Cherish's does.. ?
Leif thinks it feels entirely natural and quite soothing to talk with her. Shanti is all about world peace, and service to others in need.

Rocky and Sunny come in while they chat. Leif finds out that Shanti saves half of her pay check, ear marked for charity, it is very important to her. She has the Good trait.

They talk for a long time. She has a compatible zodiac sign to Leif. This makes them happy and lets them know they share some traits, and a burst of pink hearts erupts, which Shanti is a tiny bit embarrassed by, since it's the 2nd time it happened. She looks away.
But Leif is excited about that! Or, Maybe excited because it's the first time in 100 days that he has been 'allowed' to speak with a single girl, the length of time he's been with Cherish. Or, Maybe it's the girl herself, that he's excited about? ... Interesting. The Watcher Watches...
Shanti starts laughing. "Look over there, Leif. I guess they don't need privacy!"

Leif can't keep his eyes off her face. I wonder if he's becoming smitten? Their talk becomes a bit flirty, I never would have guessed that of Leif, especially after seeing his strong upset reaction to Sian's flirty ways. ... what Is it about this girl? Where did she come from? She's a party crasher! Faelie doesn't know her.

Laz walks in with disapproval! LOL Everyone who likes Leif wants to keep him from getting another curse spell when he gets home! Including the vampires Rocky & Sunny! "Woah! Hold your horses, Leif!" Sunny is Cherish's baby sister, but she likes Leif better and worries about him. She hates how Cherish treats him, and always wants to bite her, thinking if she became a vampire she'd act more civilized!?
Leif wisely backs the conversation down to 'Friendly', under Laz's watchful eye.? Hah good ol Laz!

Leif wants to get to know Shanti better. He wants to find out if she is a normal nice, kind person, (and Watcher wants to find out if she's another Nutcake like Cherish.) so far he finds out Shanti shares Leif's favorite trait, hopeless romantic. He goes wild finding that out. He loves to be romantic!

"So where do you live, Shanti?" asks Leif.
"Ohhh my, I don't exactly love my living conditions at the fire station, there are too many odd-balls, living there. For instance TheReal is childish, Sian is inappropriate, Zoe is evil, and Gail is insane. The guys seem better adjusted, but don't quite offset the nutty ones." says Shanti.
No wonder Dallas recruited her, to bring in a nicer balance!
(actually, nosey Watcher finds out that Lana Quarrel left the fire station to join journalism, and the game replaced her with Shanti! And the game was so lazy it just copied Sian's looks! ?)

But Leif feels sad for her. He knows what it's like to have bit of disharmony at home. The good thing about his home is the positive influence of his best friends, Rico, Diana and baby Kaiya. The balance is better for him than for poor Shanti.

Then Leif notices the vampires getting all steamy and lusty again, and wants to get out of the room! Leif can see that Shanti is a bit uncomfortable too.

I switch my active to Leif so I can see his wishes. Leif is happy! He loves to be my active because I always grant his wishes! haha.
"Want to get out of here, Shanti?" he has made a wish to invite a sim over. I can guess Who.
"uh, ok I guess.." Shanti didn't really have permission from Dallas to go anywhere but the Angel House today, so she's a bit nervous. She is not allowed to group up either. Homeless Firefighters always have the excuse they need to go to work soon, no matter the time of day or night. But sometimes they will say yes if you invite them over.
The outside paint of the Angel House is now complete!? It looks more cheerful! Yay!???

"Come on in, Shanti." invites Leif.
They joke around and chat some more, and the more he gets to know her, the more they like each other. A pop-up informs us that compatible sims can be asked to move in! LOL Is this serendipity?! ? OK, game, Watcher will play!
Leif thinks, ''Gosh, It would be nice if she would stick around, it would make for peaceful conversation instead of scared conversation when Cherish gets in her Bwitch moods.''

"Shanti, since we get along so well and You don't like living at the Fire Station with the odd-balls, would you like to stay here? My friends Rico & Diana are very nice, and they have a super cute baby. There is an extra bed in the baby's room, do you like babies?"
"Yes, I do, they are so sweet and innocent!"
For some strange reason that makes pink hearts again, Watcher is stunned by this, but they seem to like it!

Leif hesitates, ''....The only problem is a jealous witch lives here too, my girlfriend. She can be mean sometimes..." he admits.
But Shanti says, "Aw Witches don't scare me Leif, I have the brave trait. Have you all ever taken a vote to decide on a rule of no spell casting on the lot?!"
"Hm! Why didn't We think of that?!" says Leif. Shanti smiles and she decides to stay, and joins the household.

Now I can see Shanti's wishes, Leif is involved in a few of them.?? She also has a friendly option to ask him something rather Big!???

Shanti asks, "Hey Leif, since you are brave, why don't you break it off with Cherish, especially when she gets so outrageous? I've heard the talk at the Fire Station, how she troubles this household, and sometimes treats you all so cruelly. I heard a tale about a Frog incident!?! Is that True?!!! I mean, omg! So, I'm just curious why you haven't ever broken up? Would you?"

haha Big question! If he accepts, they will be broken up. They could get back together, Leif might still love her! If he is, so be it.
This break-up will create an even playing field. Watcher is glad for Leif to have a choice.

"Uh, I'm a hopeless romantic and am most happy being in love, it's really important to me. Most of the time I was under her spell, so obeyed her wishes. She casts spells a Lot! Yes! She cursed my best friend with being a Frog! She put so many spells on me I fell ill. Then she finally dissolved them all, the other day. I'm just now starting to feel like Me again. I wonder if I have been living under her spell this whole entire time of knowing her? Because only twice did she say she loved me." Leif feels sad saying that part aloud. ouch.
He shakes it off. "Anyway, you're right! I should live without a mean girlfriend, and get my head on straight!
But she might be pretty upset at You for asking me to break-up with her!" he warns, "Are you prepared for that?" He smiles at her, I think he already knows the answer.

"Witches don't scare me, Leif. I can handle myself." And with that, Leif and Cherish are ex's, and 40% friends instead of 100%.
Leif is not upset that he's single, and has no wishes to try to get back to better friends again with Cherish.
Maybe Shanti will bring Peace to this household?!
We'll see... Cherish will be home from work in 5 minutes.?
