54 The Watcher Watches: The Families The title always makes me laugh, remembering Peter Sellers, in the movie 'Being There', say to Shirley MacLaine "I like to watch" ! :D Well I must admit I Do like watching my sims, just to see what they do! I usually only direct them to help fulfill wishes, although sometimes I admit to doing this creatively! hahaSo my family, how did it begin? Starting in Moonlight Falls with Dante, Violet, and Argus, it was plain so see that Violet and Argus were getting to be an item. Dante was best friends with Belinda Crumplebottom, and they decided to move in together to my favorite house. (actually, the only house I like here!)Belinda wanted a child with Dante, and it pained him to let her down as he felt he was too young, and he wanted a more traditional family when he matured. He loved Belinda as friend, and even though she was so kind and lovely personality, she was not 'the One' for him.Belinda was swept off her feet by Don Lothario, they fell in love and married. When ever he would scare her she would retaliate by casting a spell on him! :D They enjoyed each other immensely! Their marriage was loving and solid, and then Dante wanted a child.Tulip always dreamed of babies, but would never get the wish for it. The Watcher (me) became convinced she was worried that Dante might bite the baby! :o One day as they were on a date, Dante started spamming me with wishes to turn Tulip! Even though I usually fulfill wishes, I kept clicking his wishes off. He Spammed me 7 times in half an hour! He wanted desperately to turn her! mmm maybe Dante knows something the Watcher does not! I decided to let him fulfill this wish! I wanted to know! For Science! "Are you sure, my love?" He has traveled the world's beautiful beaches, had all sorts of jobs, Cook, Maid, Pool Boy, Guidance Councilor at the high school, and private schools. His name was a joke nick name from his first employer, when he had his part time job as Pool Boy, and the name stuck! He laughs about it! He is good humored. Louise & Oscar met him at University, he played bongo drums at the bonfires. He has always been too busy working, studying or catching the waves, so he's never actually dated or had a girlfriend before. He's a bit shy around girls, but the girls that love shy, nice looking men, would grab him all the time, especially when he worked as a pool boy. I couldn't post yesterday because I was having troubles with imgur, but I think I have it sorted now. :smile: I thought it was because it was Saturday, and imgur might be too busy on a weekend, but then Hubby told me no, it was only Saturday in my game not rl!?‍♀️ hahaha

Bonehilda's a lot of fun in the University settings, and she does a fabulous job keeping the dorms clean, hiding Sims clothes who have gone streaking, and taking lots of drinks from the kegs! She's just ... not so great with kids. :)

@ergo_slum Oh that is awful! :'( I had read some awful stories about Bonehilda and babies before too. Just terrible!

I really wanted it to work with Bonehilda, especially since Dante wished for her! I imagine it could have been as fun as Klaatu. Ah well!?‍♀️?

Ahahah, oh Bonehilda! That wench caused me to lose my Sim's toddler once, in the days before I knew what resetting was. She picked up the wee one and glitched, while I watched in horror as the poor nooboo's needs plummeted. Then the social worker came and I just deleted the save. Bad Bonehilda! :)

Now the time before I had Bonehilda, she ruined my town. For some reason she became Glitchy, ran away so I had to buy another. Then that one ran away too, ? and then she started calling married men and asking them on dates!!! ??? I would Love that craziness if it hadn't caused irreparable ruination of my game.
So this time I will save as Before Bonehilda and see what happens! Cross fingers she behaves!

After deleting all her other outfits, since there is no option of having the bonehilda maid outfit for all clothing selections, and no option to 'copy outfit' in MC. I get Bonehilda back to normal.

After taking the poopy diaper to the garbage can, she walks back towards the beach towels again, thinking of "her grave''?
Yup. She disappears as soon as she attempts this and gets ready to lay on the beach towel!

@Sprottenham lol well I actually think all the sims are innocent, But they have different sense of propriety for Sure! No one is modest, it seems! :D

hahahaha yes you are right about the Amazon, she would always get her way, lol you are so funny! But neither one had a baby wish so that pretty much settled it. :) They can always change their minds at a later date, I think they make nice looking kids!

If they had acted like Danny, showing emotional reason to not want the aging up, I would have relented for another day. But I greatly dislike them only touching the newborn when it desperately needs something. With their daughters they would fight over them to rock them in the rocking chair. so I though with more interaction toddlers give would be helpful.

No my CAS vampires have an Awful deathlike pallor, if they looked that that in the game I probably wouldn't have any vampires! LOL
No I use a skin called Glo or TMZ, found on mod the sims, to get the vampires to look more normally colored, they still look like death in CAS.

Oh that is good to hear! I wonder if Sven can up his artist skill using the crayons! I kind of doubt it, though.

I don't know if what they choose to read means anything, I can hope! I want her to like babies enough to interact with them, without giving her the family oriented trait. It's neat that out of all the books in the bookcase, Tana chose Baby Incoming!

Yes the chess table is from ITF. No one goes to it on their own, I don't know why they don't like it. I switched it out, because Ace and Tana need to get their logic to 10 for their LTW, and it's so much nicer when they get the desire to play!

Ace actually was the one to teach Sven to potty! I don't know what has happened to Dante and Tulip my former Ideal Parents, but these parents need rigorous re-training LOL so yes I will chase them with stinky magic potty chairs! :D

Thank you! I'm glad you found it amusing! It is a bit of a trial for me here because of the change in Dante & Tulip! I don't want to damage the personalities of what they have evolved into, so it's a bit tricky to get them to do what I want without directing it! :D

Heh, that Amazon she could probably just sit on top of him if she wanted to, and there would be babies... Oh, what did I say... but it looks like Aiden can talk her out of it. Now that their other children are getting older, why would they need more? I'm with Aiden here. ;)

Oh, so that is Dantes best smile, hmm? Doesn't he know that a smile is made with more than just the mouth, that the rest of the face has to be along for the ride, too? :P

Your sims really have a strong will, but I have seen this sometimes to with babies.. sometimes they just don't want them to age up. I think once I even had a birthday party ending and the baby still hadn't aged up, but that was also in part because other guests constantly kept picking up the baby and blocking the parents from doing it!

Oh, or one can always use the shift click method, but this happened to me before I knew about such cheats... :P

Nice kid, but strange how pale his skin looks in CAS. It doesn't look like that on the in game pictures. Did you change the skin?

Oh, I'm so glad you're feeling better! 'Tis the season for those colds, of course, which are so much scarier now considering our Plague Times. Take care of yourself and thanks as always for the fun updates! I laughed out loud watching poor Sven try to age up but all his grownups kept getting distracted - so typical of Watcher's World! :D
