Uploading a lot is not a requirement to enter the challenge. The judging is based on your media that you present. Just make sure your photos of the lot are presented either as a story here in Create A Story or on a photo sharing site, such as Photobucket. As for the lot you may have to try several attempts to get it uploaded especially with the problems with the Exchange.
Thanks for answering that, SP :) The upload link is mainly asked for so that other Simmers can dl and enjoy your work and so that the judge can install your lot if they have any questions not answered by your media slideshow. Just make sure to take LOTS of pictures (20-30 is a good starting point, more for a larger build), and you should be okay!
