- Okay, so here come the Zagadoos (erm, I mean Disagrees) again. (ducking)
I've never taken the step to measure out seconds per minute like some of you have. It feels longer to me to play with Relativity on some value less than 37 because I have to pause the game more often to give my sims more things to do than there would be time for otherwise.
But if you insist that the game clock really runs at a different rate relative to real time, then okay I'll buy that too. :) - LOL! ^
Yes, @igazor that is the information I read (along with feedback on Story Progression from the Forums). I wanted to install that mod only because I like to give the townies a makeover, majority of the townies would be Sims that I've created. So when a Sim that I favored but do not control becomes a chef, rather than the doctor I planned for him to become, I get bummed because I don't get to see the Sims live out their lives as planned. And I read that you could control whom dates whom, Sims getting pregnant, and Sims getting jobs that are actually relevant to their skills and traits. To me, that's too AWESOME! - karritz10 years agoLegendI'm glad I came across this. I've had relativity installed for ages and haven't had any idea oh how to make it work. It was in the 'too hard basket'. Maybe I'll try launching a game later and seeing what I can do with it now.
- SimplyJen10 years agoSeasoned AceThis mod makes me feel stup!d because I often have a hard time understanding it. I hardly ever mess with it unless I feel the need for it. In one of my saves, I have it set to 35 so that my sim has more time to explore tombs. Would that be right? 35 would give a sim more time in a sim day to do things?
Sorry, I don't mean to jack your thread OP. :) If it helps, it took me a while to understand Story Progression as well. I took it slow changing settings to what the FAQ page suggest to do for noobs. --> here
After I got comfortable enough and knew what I wanted out of the mod I searched through the interactions page. ctrl + f will bring up a search box so you can type in keywords that you're looking for. "Simasaurus09;14132650" wrote:

The default speed is 37, same as without the mod. So yes, 35 would give your sims more time in a sim day to do things, but not much more. Time for them would pass at a rate of 0.95 that of normal, so you probably wouldn't notice much difference.
A speed of 19 (around 0.50) would allow them to complete tasks in roughly half the time. A speed of 23 (around 0.62) not quite as much as 19.- SimplyJen10 years agoSeasoned AceAwesome :) Thanks

There are 39 mods in the NRaas collection, not counting optional add-on modules, tuning files, and the mods we recently inherited from Ani upon her retirement.

You may as well install all of them, you know you are going to eventually.
(Just kidding, don't do that all at once. And there are a few that I don't use. Yet.)
i installed relativity too! but i had a hard time like... where did it go???? cuz i couldnt find it. it was under computer option :D.- MinxACB10 years agoSeasoned AceHa! Nice to know I wasn't the only one who couldn't retaliation their brains around this mod.I love me some nraas mods, but this one just confused the marbles out if me. I gave it a try for 2 game plays and took that sucker out. There are still days that I'm learning stuff about mc and sp, I didn't feel like trying to step by step figure that one out. But I have been considering adding it back to give it another try.

Just about all NRaas mods that have an options menu have them placed on in-game computers and City Hall. Relativity also adds one to in-game clocks as the documentation states."s1mszzang;14133648" wrote:

I knoowww. That's exactly what I thought, too! At first I looked through the "Option" panel and when that didn't work, I tried to right clicked on my Sim. I thought I installed it wrong so I removed the Mod. Read the mod information AGAIN and felt really incompetent, of course - it was in the clock, computer, and City Hall - places I didn't look.
