What happened in your sims 3 game today?

I'm so sad to read that this place will be gone soon :( . It's nice to know that at least this thread will be migrating over but... So many people have already left the community, and many more will disappear now. It is depressing. I know all good things must come to an end, but I do not like it one bit :(.
That said, I haven't been playing The Sims 3 myself for quite a while. I am still going to, but it means I will have to install everything once again, and I've just been busy with other things.
I need to digest the thought about this forum shutting down... I think I will at least try to take a look at the new forum when it's out, and keep checking this one at times until then - especially if and when I get motivated to install my own game again - but I'm not happy about this change :/ .
