Back in Bridgeport for a day of building and play.
I'm working on this section of the city near the waterfront, mostly small businesses, offices buildings and old apartment complexes on top.
I am working on a bookstore and glass jewelry gallery located near the waterfront of Bridgeport. The lot has a rabbit hole restaurant, 6 open office spaces with old apartments above and a small city flea market in the back with the savvy sellers' rug and a greasy food truck.
Top view and back view of the lot.
The back of the lot will have parking spaces for customers, and employees. A bus stop is on the lot for storytelling.
The bookstore and jewelry gallery are unfinished.
It's always raining in this city or snowing when I decided to build. This lot has a long way to go, I'm still recoloring furniture and objects and decorating spaces. I'm taking my time and only adding to the lot when I play my sims because the lot is part of their story line. I'm building the lot as ideas or scenarios that fit my sims stories happen.
Just getting the flea market set up. There will be more layers added as I play. We don't have very many vendors today...it's a weekday. The place is usually crowded on the weekends.
The second level of the bookstore will have an apartment space for sims to relax in when they are visiting the lot. Artist studios are above the glass sculpture/ jewelry store.
Playtesting the lot with my jewelry artist Tracie Parrish.
She is looking for a book on metal stamping.
She needs to head home soon and get ready for date night. She's got the best sushi in Bridgeport and a hot chef waiting for her!
