- @Nikkei_Simmer Sadly they both are not good, the sims 2 one is way way better.EA blew it on them in my opinion in 3.Dina is the blonde though.

I've always loved Dina better. Something about Nina just creeped me out. :scream:

Also, I hated the '4 version, so I gave her a '2 make-over! I think she looks 150% better! BTW, I've never seen the '3 version.
Anyway, back to the topic -
I've nearly always buy the "Pre-Fabulous" house in Sunset Valley (7/10 of the time). The remaining times, is if I decide to play an existing family. - @5782341b77vl  She is really pretty you even captured her cat like eyes right.Awesome job.you pulled off the Sims 2 Dina vibe but in a modern game.Sims 3 version is horrible her eyes are narrow her lips are super thin she is just bleh. :s

This house from Sunset Valley.
It's so bad I look forward to getting my sims out of it. - ZeeGee1Seasoned Hotshot

I love this house! It's my favorite starter. It's so easy to change a few colors and make it really cute. I've redecorated this one a thousand times and still love it. But I must admit, I've never thought of saving it and putting four on one block like @ck213. - @CK213 & @ZeeGee , Fans of The Monotone too I see! I used to start pretty much every one of my Sims in that house if I was doing a start out dirt poor challenge. I have redone that poor house so much!
- iAMcianeSeasoned Newcomer@SimplyJen - I love the link you provided. Those homes on that site are all awesome just as the title suggests!
And, yeah, I like to build my own starter; but when I first started playing, I too chose the Dog Patch in Riverview.

and the Shotgun in Sunset Valley.

Fake Houses Real Awesome does have some truly wonderful builds ! - I usually start withThe Monotone / The Shotgun in Sunset Valley.
Though I must say The shotgun is a waste of space (I think it is 30*40 lot). - SimplyJenRising Spectator

The extra space is there to expand if the player doesn't want to move lot.
