If you have the product code for 70s, 80s and 90s, then
1) go on the the sims3 website: https://www.thesims3.com/
2) log in to your account (same as EA App account)
3) Hover over the Blue "My Page" Button until it drops down
4) Hover over "My account"
5)Click redeem a code
6) click the little green plus sign next to "Redeem a code"
7) Enter your game code there
If you already redeemed your code, and have purchased the pack through the EA App or the sims 3 website, then follow these instructions
1) go to the sims3 website https://www.thesims3.com/
2) Log in to your account (Same as EA App account)
3) However over the blue Blue "Store" Button
4) hover over the "My Store Account" button
5) Click purchase history
6) You should any see worlds, and sometimes item packs that you have purchased on this page. Next to the desired one it should say download. click download.
7) Boot up the Sims 3 Launcher (if its not open already)
8) Click the "Downloads" Button on the left side
9) You should see your pack or world in the items list on the right hand side. Tick the box next to it and hit "Install" zoeb203 If you're still seeing this issue, try clearing the EA App's cache. Sometimes the App data lags behind by a few days.

I wouldn't worry too much about it though. As long as the pack is showing in the launcher, it should work fine, and that also means that the App recognizes you own it.
TechnoBearJake Those instructions have nothing to do with installing expansions or stuff packs.
