I am hoping this is the place to put this ... I just bought a 2016 macbook pro 13,3 (released in October 2016 I believe). Same problems as everyone else, getting the "unknown error" message right after I click the sims app.
Processor: 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7
Graphics card: Radeon Pro 450 2 GB.
Memory: 16GB
I bought the computer with the dedicated graphics card without checking if sims 3 would run on it .. stupid, I know ... but I also didn't know this was such an issue.
I have tried troubleshooting with all the tips above and nothing has worked.
Bootcamp was suggested to me by a friend but I wanted to post on here to see if the graphics card would still be a problem as I don't want to go through the work and have it not turn out.
Any help would be appreciated!
