PLEASE HELP
I have thoroughly read this forum and it's solutions IN ADDITION to @Bluebellflora previous forum which involved changing the .sgr files. Sadly, still to no avail. I have purchased the "Sims 3 Starter pack" which upon launching still gives me a "Unknown error occurred". I've followed @corey_0414 's solution and I don't even have any of the expansions with my "Sims 3 Starter pack" not under "add-ons" or anywhere. Its just the base game. I've exhausted all the solutions I can find. I've bypassed the launcher, patched the game I've moved the SIM3 folder to my desktop. Now it won't even give me the error message. The Sims graphic will pop-up on my dock for about one second then will disappear.
I wish I could post photos on here. I have listed this same problem verbatim on EA (I cant post links here) That will help you visualize my status, please take a look.
