Activation Ui

i've been having this problem for a while now where no matter what i do modded or unmodded the activation ui program opens but doesnt show on the screen i have to force close from the task manager

i have the Alder Lake Patch from Lazy Duchess and thier Smooth Patch as well along with Battery's S3SE, (and a whole load of normal mods like NRASS)

maybe its becuase the EA App is saying i can buy the Sims 3 from the library? yet i own it...

after i reinstalled the game i didnt put in a fps limiter that i put in before and only have the smooth patch now and th custom launcher (plus all the other mods) now it just opens music stutters and then closes

    @blazequakes  How did you originally install Sims 3: discs, Origin, EA App, Steam, or something else?  Does the game currently show as owned in your EA App game library?  I realize the App is saying you could buy it, but sometimes there's a disconnect between the library and the store sides.

    Additionally, is your game library loading properly?  The key is that it should list your installed games first, then your owned games below that, with your installed games also showing up along the left side of the App window.  When this doesn't happen, it means the App isn't loading your data.

    currently reinstalling it but i'm using the EA App (thats how it was originally installed) also the game library shows up like you said and it shows up as owned in the library and on the sidebar but under the manage options on the game detail page (with Manage Addons, and View Properties, excettera) it shows i can purchase the game doesnt do it with Sims 4 so i have no idea whats going on

    @blazequakes  The EA App has some glitches like this with older games, so I wouldn't worry about the offer to purchase if nothing else in the App says you don't own Sims 3.

    Let me know what happens after the reinstall.

    @puzzlezaddictSo i have to use lazy duchess's Alder Lake patch in order to get it to even start and now it will either run music show the loading screen and then crash or just crash

    !!!!EDIT!!!!!

    Its one of my mods.... i just tested it with only lazy duchess's smooth patch mods and it works sooooo sorry for wasting your time!!!!
