Adding ghost to household.

I would really like it if my sim had a ghost husband, but I can't get the Oh My Ghost opprotunity to happen, and now she's just a widow. If there a way, with or without cheats, to force this opprotunity to occur or otherwise add the ghost to my household? I am totally cool with cheats, but I don't want to use a mod.

    Hi katdemonninja,

    You can have your Sim start the science career and early enough, she should get the "Restore a loved ones remains" opportunity which should allow to make her husband come back as a ghost.
     

    1. Put the remains/tombstone/urn in your inventory and go to Town View. Click on the Science lab and select the option to restore the remains and head to the Science lab.
       
    2. Your loved one will be restored to a ghost and you will be able to do anything and everything with your ghost Sim that you can with your living Sim. Make both Sims go home.

    It's been an entire sim week. This doesn't work.
