Adding levels to Penthouses

Hey guys Can someone please explain to me in simple terms how to add a level to a penthouse? I can add basements and everything but this just goes way over my head. I don't know if it's too much to ...

    hi that is getting out of my building leaque have you tried to ask over in the ts3 the creative corner

How do I get rid of it though? By removing all the floor tiles and trying to grab it?
