I write down, what exactly happened.
So my sim was in China, working on her karate skill, then holiday time was over, she had to travel home.
I sent her home with phone, game was loading and instead of her home town and house, that screen appeared, where I have to choose a family/and a place to live, like a new game.
I got shocked, and by mistake I clicked on save, not save as, but fortunately with backup files I got my girl back with an earlier save, she was in China.
I sent her home again, but the starter screen appeared again.
I restarded the full game and my laptop but its still happening.

@szdorka The first thing that comes to mind is a memory issue and virtual memory. TS3 is a 32 bit application and can't access more then 4Gb of memory and in reality the game uses about 2Gb of memory do to the compilers used. If your computer is a pc please post your computer's dxdiag - link - how to post your computer's dxdiag thank you

You said you got the starter screen? But that doesn't necessarily mean the town is missing. Everyone could still be there in spite of the screen. I forget the process but you may either have to click on "edit town" or "switch active household" to get back into the game with all the sims you had before the active sim went on vacation.
If all the other sims are all there, it could be that for whatever reason, it's the sim who went to China who has gone missing. Because she is missing, the game is throwing up the starter screen when you return from vacation because it thinks you're starting a new game even though it's the same old town.
So, try that. Try going into Edit Town mode or clicking the "change active household" button to see what happens. Also, if you have any mods installed, remove them before you try returning home from China.

So I tried what you've said.
Nothing happens.
I have my sim there (I play with one sim only), but fully from the start, like right efter I created her and need to move her in.
When I place her in, my game do just nothing. I can easy log out, save, go to menu, whatever, but nothing happens after I hit the play button.
Im not using mods. I tried before, a few times actually, but it never worked. I do not even know, whatdo they give, cos I could never use em :D
I installed only purchased sims3package files.

I'm sorry to ask so many questions, but what happens if you don't place her at all, if you just change to a different house altogether (don't place her)? Does the same thing happen?
If so, I'm really stumped as to what happened. It sounds like the game glitched. Maybe someone else has some insight as to what to do. But if you really like this sim, maybe you could load the backup file again while in China, save this sim to your library, and start her over in a new game. (To save the sim, type in testingcheatsenabled true into cheat console, shift+click the sim, choose "Edit in Create a Sim" and save her to the bin).
