so i actually asked chatgpt for help and it told me to add a new line that goes

to the ATI/AMD section and it works now (found 1 matched 1) but im not sure if i did it correctly the game runs smoother now but the game now freezes for five minutes after 10 minutes of gameplay and unfreezes for like three minutes and then freezes again ////

For the performance issues, what world(s) are you playing in, and does the same thing happen in Sunset Valley? Please test if you haven't already.
Please also let me know whether you've taken steps to limit your in-game framerates, and if not, whether you need help with the process. Your GPU is fast enough to generate wildly high fps in Sims 3, which is unnecessary and can be harmful to the long-term health of the card. It can also cause crashing, although it doesn't always.
@ImIncrediblyOlD Please check your in-game framerates with the cheat fps on , which will put an fps counter in the upper-right corner of the screen. Let me know whether the limit you've imposed is holding.
What other mods do you use, and do you use any custom content? If you play with only NRaas mods and no cc, does the game still freeze? Please test and let me know; you don't need to save your progress.

so i tested it out, when the game freezes the fps stays on the number it freezes on but when the game unfreezes it reaches 1 fps and quickly rises back up to 59 - 60fps.
the fps counter tells me its capping at 60
I think using TSW actually makes my game freeze more since before i even used it the game would freeze but go back to normal but aftrer using it the game freezes and then keeps on freezing..
Also i reinstalled my game to see if that would fix anything and it actually forgot my GPU so i had to do all of that again but for some reason it deleted my whole mod file
Im not sure what im really doing tbh but i tried to make the game use more ram by setting it to 8gb rather than 2gb on the sims.ini file
What should i be doing? should i be trying to use more fps to lower the fps?
