The old one has all that stuff, the new one seems clean. I'm still trying to figure out why some stuff seems to get packed with everything, regardless of use and others not. I'm not sure if I should get into those in more detail (like making a list) or if that would be plain silly for there are so many of those (that's what I'm thinking atm). I have not come up with a clever way to help people avoid stuff and getting rid of them while not having to post every single item that comes with stuff whether you want it or not. That's why I was asking.
As for your new ones. I show you a pic:

On a clean sims3pack those read bordered texts should not show up. I'm just not sure what it means. From what I learned so far, it could mean one of two things:
1. The actual download was supposed to get packed with that sim but since the file in DCBackup is missing, it's just a reference that it should be there. No worries there. Nothing will get installed in other peoples games
2. The download is actually a package file that was used. Those will not normally get packed with a Sim but there are a few that do anyway (like non-default skin tones). Now those will transfer into peoples games but show as package files. One can only get rid of those by deleting the actual sim it came with (they don't show in the Launcher).
To see which of the two possibilities it is, I will need to install her in my game and see what comes up in CAS. I just did not get around of doing that.
As for your question about non-default skintones: It's pretty simple, but people don't know that they distribute them that way for all they ever hear is: Package files don't get packed with sims or houses, it's just sims3packs that do that. So why bother writing about something that isn't even supposed to be there in the first place. If you want more info on that, read this thread: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=415216
I hope you understand, what I'm trying to say.
