also two other problems i have is; one after i install the expansion packs and open up the sims 3 launcher is a messahe pops up thats says- script error, an error has occured in the script of this page, it gives me an option to continue but i still want to know what its about. two even before i ever installed the expansion packs when i open the launcher or try and update the game via launcher a messgae shows up that says- unable to connet to ea download manager, it dosent really give me any problems, i updated the game manually thru a link on the website but again i still want to know why its happening, thank you
I've seen many people with exactly the same CPU as yours that have the same issue. EPs won't play.
Your CPU does not meet the minimum requirements so I think that is the problem here.
Also your graphics drivers could do with an update.

ScriptError: Common, probably something on EA's side. Not much you can do about it

ok, thank you. is there something i can do so that my cpu does match the requirements? and how do i update my graphics drivers? again thank you for taking the time to help me out
Not really. Guess this is a laptop ? They usually can't be upgraded. Those subnetbooks are just not made for gaming.
To update your drivers, check if your notebook offers them automatically, if not, go here: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
Your card is this: AMD Radeon HD 8210
and you have Windows 8.1 64 bit
But it's best if you do an auto-detect.
