No, the doppleganger effect happens when you leave a copy of a EA game household in your library and the game clones Townies and NPCs from that library, so that it will place at least one exactly the same sim, same name, same everything back into the game in the same world that sims lives in - it can cause all kinds of lag and hesitation if both of those identical sims are out and about - even taking over the entire storyline of your sim, stealing their kids, their husbands, and even worse if you go on Vacation with the family often the doppleganger is instructed by the game to go too as it cannot differate between the two identical sims - and when it's time to come home one of those sims are not going to come home - they become invisible - sometimes you see a plumbbob walking around if your sim is the one that does not make it home. There is no way I know of to fix this, so you are better off not letting it happen by not keeping copies of the EA families from the worlds in the library when you are playing in the same world those sims are tied to. There is no problem for instance if you moved the Crumplebottom household to the library and then went to play in Twinbrooks, or LL, or anywhere else but SunsetValley. But the minute you think you want to go back to Sunset Valley then remove that household from your library or extensively change them and especially their name and the doppleganger affect won't happen. I have had no problem with Sims I just change their haircolor, name, and wardrobe of; but I also often like to tweak them abit to cut down the pudding look some have. I have even kept last names but always change the first name, and sort of think of them as cousins or something.
Your Sekemoto's should be good - possible problem in LL having the same first names - but where you remade them - they may be alright. I would go and change their names if it was me, but that is up to you as I have had a few run-ins with doppleganger sims and they are always trouble if the game does not at least change their name. I know I would suggest the people downloading to NOT have both families in LL or if they do, don't travel under any circumstances as that is the most problematic.
That graveyard issue is still weird, as I have redone several graveyards in the early days of the game, and I could see where the story families might have their sims returned, but all of them seems strange. It may be due to the changes they made in the graveyards to make ghosts go back to their homes at night when they roam - as used to the ghosts stayed in the graveyard and for who knows what reason EA thought it was better if they left the graves at night, took a car or taxi and returned to their old homes - which I find silly - but that very well may have made the moved ghost also return home. Like I said it has been a long time since I remade a graveyard, and I know I haven't since they made that change in the graveyard. I seem to have lost my passion for dressing up the graveyards since ghosts leave. I used to add bathrooms with showers, rest areas, a kitchenette which ghost would use - but no point now a days. But it does make sense now that I think about it.
Used to at most the graves would all move to the outside area around the perimeter of the graveyard in edit, same as they did in sims 2. But it is apparently changed. So I suggest you change your grave yard first, then when you are done completely move over the dead. If you ever get a chance, ask a Guru about it - perhaps they don't realize when they made the ghost leave at night they made the grave move back to the ghost old homes. I didn't know - so maybe they don't realize it either.
