I will also have another look at it today.
I think it is something to do with that specific Sim as it only happens with her. With or without mods it only happens with that one. However, I've only had the Sims in this particular game use the tractor.
I have seen others talking about similar issues with Sims that have eaten Ambrosia, or Sims that are/were ghosts or occult.
I have also considered the Money tree thing but haven't tested it.
There is also the fact that I have the Tree of Prosperity in the game as well as the Wishing well and several other items that came with Into the Future.
If I hadn't seen posts with other people having similar issues I wouldn't have worried about putting this in here and assumed it was simply something to do with that specific Sim.
