Can't connect to EA servers on PS3 for Sims 3 Pets

My PS3 can't connect to EA servers for sims 3 pets and won't read that I've completed 91% of challenges and has sent me back to the start. My saved gamed are still there and when I check trophies in the main screen all the completed challenges are there. But when I start the game it's back at zero. WTF? It's not my internet connection. My nat connection is type 2. I have no problem connection wise with anything else. Please help. I don't want to have to do all that over again. Thanks.
