Can't create a Sims Community account

Question

I am trying to&nbsp;use my EA account&nbsp;to create&nbsp;a&nbsp;The Sims 3 Community, but when I fill out all of the fields and click "Sign Up!", the webpage reloads &amp; nothing happens.&nbsp; Did EA stop supporting people making new accounts, or am I missing something?

try doing it by just going to the sims community and entering create account through their site and not through the&nbsp;EA site. Also the site might be under maintenance they do not accept new profiles then.&nbsp;
