Cant get Seasons to launch ????

I really don't know what all the stuff means either, especially if it's SecuROM. I always get the disc. Only the digital Download uses secuROM and in my opinion, something is conflicting with it. Do you have any background programs running ? Anything at all ? Don't know if I already gave you this link: https://help.ea.com/article/programs-that-may-cause-conflicts-with-origin 

If you don't mind posting at another site, give the ModTheSims forum a try. Lots of tech savy people there, willing to help out. Tell them what you've already tried, I'm sure they can help you out with all the tech stuff about SecuROM and the process monitor.

Another option I see (if you want to go down that road), is buy the 70ies stuff pack on disc, that way you'll need the disc again for it to work. I know that might not be a valid suggestion or might not even work and I usually don't suggest buying something to fix the game (cause honestly, you should not have to do that) but on the other hand, it's cheaper than putting in hours and hours of your time to get the game to work. Also Uni is coming out in 2 weeks, that might be another option.
