Can't install Sims 3 Supernatural

I downloaded The Sims 3 Supernatural but I can't install it onto my computer. When I try to install it, a pop-up comes up that says "Please use The Sims 3 Launcher and update your version of The Sims 3 before installing this product." I tried that and it says that my game is up to date. It also says it can't connect to Origins. I installed all of my Sims games and installed the initial The Sims 3 game and tried it again and I got the same thing. What can I do to fix this?
