whenever i ask my sims girlfriend to move in with him, it allows me to move her over and click accept, but after this i'm stuck on an endless processing screen. i repaired my game and removed cc but that didn't help. does anyone know how i can fix this?

try smooth patch by lazy dutchess if you haven't, that's what fixed my endless processing screens : )
kingslehh Are you willing to add a few mods? If so, I can suggest a few that might help.
If you don't want to use mods, go to Edit Town, evict the girlfriend from her current house and move her back in, then try to move her in with your sim again. You could also evict her and merge her with your current household in Edit Town if having your sim ask her to move in doesn't matter to you.
