When I start my game, the screen goes black. Then should come The Sims logo and stuff ( loading screen ). But instead it goes back to my desktop.... Why?? Why can't I play???? Please help :C

Black screen usually means something is up with your video card.Can you please your Dxdiag. To gather your DxDiag, windows key + R Key. in the run box type dxdiag, hit ok and save report to desktop. Post the whole report. this will take you several posts

DxDiag will tell you what operating system you have all your drives, if they are updated or not and errors you might have on your computer.

You have enough cpu and ram. Its your graphics. The Intel card does not run the game. Is this a laptop or PC? If PC you could change the graphics card. you would have to do research on what graphics cards will work with your computer should you want to switch the card out. AMD and Nvida med to higher level vidoe cards work better for this game.

You have enough cpu and ram. Its your graphics. The Intel card does not run the game. Is this a laptop or PC? If PC you could change the graphics card. you would have to do research on what graphics cards will work with your computer should you want to switch the card out. AMD and Nvida med to higher level vidoe cards work better for this game.

@Innu300 Your graphics drivers are pretty dated. Try updating them by going to the intel site here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx and have the site recognize your chip

Could you post this info:

Click on Start and then type the following into the search prompt at the bottom: perfmon /rel

Press Enter to proceed.

A window will open and in there you can click on the red circles with a white X.

After clicking the X, the info on the bottom will update. Choose the Sims 3 Critical Event one and right click on it and choose "View Technical Details"

Now on the next window, choose Copy to clipboard at the very bottom and post this into a reply to us here.

if it's a laptop you would not be able to switch out the graphics. You are actualy the 4th person this week having intel card issues. Your card is not designed for gaming and in the end this game could ruin your card. It would be up to you if you want to still try and play the game .What do you have game settings as? you might want to try putting you game graphics on low. Also there are some Expantion packs that are more demanding. Like Pets, Into The Future, Seasons and Island Paradise. If you have these installed try removing them one by one to see if your game will play better.

Also I don't like telling people this but for the future if you want to play the sims4 and other newer games you might want to think about purchasing a newer computer. One that can handle the newer games with a good graphics card.
