I followed these instructions

opened up the launcher and it finally worked BUT THERE WAS NOTHING IN the launcher. Everything was gone. And it made a new folder for what? Then when I erase the .old my launcher goes back to not working.

I just want my old game back and everything the way it was before I downloaded the Pets Demo.
