Hi ! Followed your instructions again. But I don't think the issue comes from the world as it happens in other world also...
@tanoo971 Does it happen in a standard EA world with no custom content present at all? If so, please run a dxdiag and add it to a post.

If not, I still think it's the cc, perhaps in combination with your graphics settings or something else on your system. This is an uncommon issue, but it's not unheard-of and as far as I've seen, there's always cc involved.

HIIII !!! I figured it out ! The red teint stayed after taking everything out but I only had to change the sim in CAS or modify the color of the object for it to go back to normal. I deleted all the CC I downloaded recently and it's finally WORKNG!!!
Thanks for your fantastic help. I'll get back to you about the Error 12.
Thanks again you're amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@tanoo971 I thought the red tint was appearing in a new save as well, but I guess I misinterpreted that. At any rate, it's not surprising you'd need to refresh the in-game image of any affected item. Hopefully you've removed all the problem custom content and it won't happen again.
When you're ready to troubleshoot the Error 12 issue, please let me know how much memory Sims 3 is using immediately after your save loads and the game clock starts running, and also after you've been playing the save for at least 20 real-time minutes. In each case, you can put the game in windowed mode (but don't minimize it) and check the Task Manager's Memory tab.

You'll find here some of the informations you asked me.

@tanoo971 Sorry, I meant Memory in the Processes section, where you can see how much memory each individual program is using.

I'm sorry I was really busy. Here are the informations you asked me.

@tanoo971 Okay, that all looks fine. Does the Sims 3's memory use rise steadily in saves where you get an Error 12? It happens with some saves but not others, and in that case the game will have issues once it's running at around 3.3-3.4 GB RAM, since saving causes a memory spike. If the game throws an Error 12 but doesn't crash, you can always check the Task Manager again immediately afterwards.
If the Error 12s happen without the game using too much memory, then it's running out of a different resource. If you haven't already, turn down water and high-detail lots (in the graphics settings) to no more than "mirrors only" and 2, respectively; these two can use excessive resources otherwise.
Another source of Error 12 can be a lot of "high poly" (high-resolution) custom content, which takes more resources to render than normal cc or base game items. If you have a particular save that's throwing the error and you've confirmed that this is not a RAM issue, and lowering the two graphics settings doesn't help, please try running it without any cc at all, which you can do in a(nother) clean user folder if you don't want to mess up your existing one. Since the cc won't be in the clean folder, you can compare performance in the same save with and without the items. If you're still playing in a custom world, you'll of course need to install that into the new folder, and NRaas mods are fine to add as well, but please don't add anything else.

Hello, I followed your instructions and here is what happened when I had the ERROR 12 message. The game doesn't crash every time it appears. This is the Task Manager assessment that appeared after I quite the game sue the the message. My game does crash a lot though.
I'm going to try the high-resolution CC thing.
Thanks again for your output 🙂

@tanoo971 Your screenshot is somewhat blurry, but I think it says Sims 3 is using 3,252.4 MB of RAM. While that's not quite in the typical danger zone, it's still possible that saving pushes things over the edge. So it may help to try to lower the game's memory use. For example, if you're using NRaas StoryProgression at the moment, set it to run on the slowest speed (NRaas > SP > General Options > Speed > Snail). Depending on the size of the save, you may also want to clean it, as in, use Kuree Save Cleaner to reduce its size.
Still, it's also possible that RAM use is high but not the cause of the Error 12s or the crashes, so it's worth doing the other testing as well.

I did the last test. The game runs kinda smoothly without any Error 12.
What should I do next ?

@tanoo971 Start adding back your custom content and see how it goes. Or, if you quit without saving or used a different save, try removing only some of your cc rather than all of it. Either way, the point is to test with some but not all of the cc to try to figure out which item or items are the issue. And please do actually use the cc in-game; most items wouldn't cause any problems unless it appeared on-screen.
If you have a lot of custom content, the 50/50 (binary sort) method can help make the process more efficient.
