Hello, I followed your instructions and here is what happened when I had the ERROR 12 message. The game doesn't crash every time it appears. This is the Task Manager assessment that appeared after I quite the game sue the the message. My game does crash a lot though.
I'm going to try the high-resolution CC thing.
Thanks again for your output 🙂
@tanoo971 Your screenshot is somewhat blurry, but I think it says Sims 3 is using 3,252.4 MB of RAM. While that's not quite in the typical danger zone, it's still possible that saving pushes things over the edge. So it may help to try to lower the game's memory use. For example, if you're using NRaas StoryProgression at the moment, set it to run on the slowest speed (NRaas > SP > General Options > Speed > Snail). Depending on the size of the save, you may also want to clean it, as in, use Kuree Save Cleaner to reduce its size.
Still, it's also possible that RAM use is high but not the cause of the Error 12s or the crashes, so it's worth doing the other testing as well.

I did the last test. The game runs kinda smoothly without any Error 12.
What should I do next ?

@tanoo971 Start adding back your custom content and see how it goes. Or, if you quit without saving or used a different save, try removing only some of your cc rather than all of it. Either way, the point is to test with some but not all of the cc to try to figure out which item or items are the issue. And please do actually use the cc in-game; most items wouldn't cause any problems unless it appeared on-screen.
If you have a lot of custom content, the 50/50 (binary sort) method can help make the process more efficient.
