go to the EA website, profile, edit profile. i changed my username, good luck!
Changing your username/ID on the EA website does change it for EA but not The Sims 3 website. They are only linked together; not one in the same. Unfortunately, I have tried for a few years to change mine on The Sims 3 but it have not found a way to do so.
