Code Already Redeemed on Origin?

So i bought the sims 3 ages ago and installed it on my computer etc... and eventually that computer broke. I got a new one, an apple macbook air, so i wanted to be able to play sims without a disk drive hence installing origin. When I went to redeem the code it said it had already been used...can i never reinstall it??
