Sims 3

About a month ago I couldn't access the sims 3 anymore. I play on MacBook Air, and It worked fine for weeks, until one day it signed me out and wouldn't sign me back in, I can't request a new account or make a new password, but when I try to sign in it says my email is incorrect, and I'm kinda pressed because I recently bought packs that I couldn't even try playing, literally just seasons, and I'm at a loss of what to do. I installed the game, rebought it, ended up getting a refund after buying it, because it still wouldn't let me make a new account or sign into my account. 

Does anyone know what to do to help me?

    king_Elliott414​  Are you saying you can't sign into the EA App or make a new account?  Or are you trying to sign into the game?  Can you sign into your main EA account on another site (like this one), using the correct email, or are you locked out everywhere?

    I’m locked out everywhere. I can’t access it anywhere. I went through the official sims 3 page and that’s the only time I can log in, but when I try to play it, it buffers for hours until I power off my MacBook.

    king_Elliott414​  Are you saying you can login to http://www.thesims3.com but not to ea.com using the same email address and password?  That's very strange.  If it is in fact what you're seeing, please try both in a private browser window to make sure this isn't a caching issue.

    As for Sims 3, how far do you get into the process?  Are you launching the game directly or through the EA App (and how are you getting into the App)?  If you can't login to the App and are only trying to open Sims 3, then it makes sense why the game doesn't work.

    I don’t get far. I access it through steam, and go from there, and it loads and I can see all of my worlds and stuff but it loads for hours, and won’t let me log in.

    king_Elliott414​  Forget signing in at the Main Menu.  You don't need to, and it doesn't always work correctly anyway.  If the game keeps trying to connect, open Keychain Access, in Applications > Utilities, search for sims3 , and delete any associated entries.  If that alone doesn't help, clear the EA App's cache:

    If there's a particular reason you want to use the sign-in, like you're hunting badges or playing with SimPort, you can try again to login after deleting the above data.  If it doesn't work, repeat those steps and just skip the login for now.

    I'm not sure what you mean when you say you play through Steam though.  Steam only hosts the Windows version of Sims 3; this has always been the case.  It won't even install the Mac version.  Maybe you added Sims 3 as a non-Steam game in order to be able to launch it from the Steam interface?
