Code issues

Hi y'all, 3 part issue/questions

I bought most of TS3 packs as physical copies as they came out, and for the majority I was able to install them as digital copies with their codes no problem.

However, I haven't been able to install Seasons and World Adventures.

  1. My World Adventures code gets rejected as being already used. I am the sole owner of this copy and don't know how this would happen. If anyone used the code, it would've been me (most likely). The FAQ tells me to contact the retailer, but I doubt Walmart will be able to help me with a 15 year old game. 
  2. My Seasons code is missing outright. I understand if I'm SOL.
  3. I still have the physical copies and may be able to install them the old fashioned way. Will they be compatible with the rest of the packs + base game, which were installed as digital copies through the app?

    I had the same issue, I purchased every single pack.. Ea is really getting my upset with the way they are treating their players and customers.. I put in a ticket and they restored my items.. later they tried to tell me that I had to have the receipt knowing full well that no one keeps a receipt from a game they purchased over 10 years ago.. give me a break.. there has to be a way we can raise awareness of this issue 

    Also, there is no longer a way for folks to call them on the phone for support.  This same issue happened to me back in 2016 almost 9 years ago on my desktop computer.. that was when they had "origin" and my games just "disappeared".  

    The only other thing I can think of to do is buy a dvd drive and load them up one by one and then save this.. or try and burn one as an iso and load it digitally that way

  • LogicallyIronic  For WA, since you still have the code, you can contact EA customer support and ask what happened to your pack.  A support rep could look up the code for you and see whether, for example, you might have redeemed it on a different account.

    I would strongly recommend using live chat rather than email.  If you're not seeing the option, try this link:

    Make sure you're already signed into the help site and that your location on that page is set to U.S. or U.K.  It's fine even if you live elsewhere.

    If WA is in fact attached to a different account, you could have it merged with your current one.  Seasons might be there too.  Otherwise, without a code, you're out of luck.

    Typically, physical copies NOT registered in the EA App don't get along with digital copies.  The App will usually block access to any content it thinks you don't own.  You could always try a combined install; the worst that could happen is you waste some time.  This would only work for WA, at best, since you'd still need a code to install Seasons from disc.

    Thank you for the advice, I was looking for a live chat option but got frustrated with the website and honestly just wanted to get to playing with what packs I did have installed (not to mention just getting my game to even work took up a bit of time lol).

    I suspect I threw out the Seasons code. I'll probably just rebuy that one, unfortunately.
