Hi, I recently got a new computer and installed all my Sims 3 on this new computer. Everything is find until I have to sign in on the game launcher. Says my connection to the server has been lost. Also, there is nothing on the welcome page...all blank.
I went onto the old computer where the game is still there, and I got right in. I signed out of everything on the old computer and tried on the new one...same issue. Any suggestions?

Even though the error is different, the replies contain all the usual troubleshooting suggestions for issues with the launcher connecting.
If none of that helps, can you try a different connection? If your computer has wifi, you could set your phone as a mobile hotspot (using data, not your home network) and connect to that instead. The idea is to find out whether the problem is coming from the computer or the network or its equipment.
