Corrupt story... Really.
My main story has a glitch.. (maybe 10). I don't know what's connected or relative to the problem. Maybe it all is. I say it's the story cuz I was able to start a new story and play. It ...

Have you checked your sims downloads folder (not DC cashe folder) for these items or have you deleted all items in that folder too? Im guessing you downloaded a sim from the exchange. If you have not tried this I would delete the sim you downloaded. Bad CC is probably still attached to that sim
DxDiag reads crash on TS3W file. This is your sims game file. Bad CC may have attached to this file preventing your game from starting
If deleteing the sims you downloaded did not work in getting rid of these bad files, I would save your sims game on an outside hard drive or flash drive. Uninstall the base game and all ep's. Start from sctratch and do a clean install of the game
You wont know if your saved game is corrupt until you put it back in the game after you clean install the base game and all ep's. Also if this ever happens to you again don't delete "All" your files. you may have made your problem worse. Always save your downloads in a seperate folder. Deleteing your DC cashe folder should always be a last resort. Deleting your DC Cashe takes out all outside content you added to the game. Usually when someone gets a corrupt file on a sim its just a matter of finding the bad file in downloads, deleting that file and then deleting the sim you downladed.
INSTEAD of doing a complete reinstall, do a factory reset. It does exactly the same thing but it saves you about three hours: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps/td-p/714
Doing a factory reset will delete all the saved sims in CASim which is where the op's problem is probably located? If so good to know!
You're creating a completely new sims 3 folder - that's exactly what the point is of a factory reset. Then as you put all your files (which have been backed up) back in, you look for the problem one.
According to the OP he deleted all the files so whatever he copies those deleted files will still be missing. If I were OP I would just save the game save, since OP seems to have deleted downloads, DC cashe etc. Might have even deleted his save sims files though OP has not stated if they have. do a factory reset, put the old save back in the game and see if it works but ops cc will now all be missing if they did not back up their downloads folder before deleting it.

Or they could find it in the recycle bin.
Yery true if OP did not delete everything in the recycle bin. 😕mileyfrustrated:
