Crash upon save after adding a second level to house; CC removed, caches empty, made a back-up but no solution yet
The subject says all.
I have all EPs installed except for World Adventures. I've heard that this problem could occur with the Snow in seasons, but my current game is in summer and there is no precipitation at all.
This problem occurred rather suddenly. I had removed some CC to make my game faster (just hair styles and an eyelash mesh) then I wanted to expand my house and now my saves crash all the time. I can save successfully in the first 60 seconds of gameplay, but after that I get this crash.
My base game is current (at patch 1.50). I'm not sure if my EPs are though; according to ModTheSims3's patch table they are a little behind, but I don't know how to update these, or if these would be causing my problems. I do have automatic updates enabled, so I didn't think I would run into this problem.
Suggestions are appreciated.
