Crashing randomly on MAC

saultrixter​  It's worth testing without iCloud Drive syncing any data because saves can get large, particularly when the sims travel to other worlds.  If you don't want to change the iCloud settings, taking the computer offline will of course also prevent syncing in the moment.  You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi before pressing Play.

If that doesn't help, is there any particular action that causes the crashes?  I can test on my Mac to see whether it happens for me as well.  For example, in Windows, my game always freezes for a few seconds, but doesn't crash, when a staircase is revealed in a tomb.  I haven't tried exploring in macOS though, and I haven't seen any reports of specific places in WA worlds being an issue.

After testing for sometime, it seems to just mostly be when exploring on world adventures I think? And seems to be syncing from what I can see.

It's the latest MAC mini with m4 chip, 24gb RAM.

saultrixter​  You say the crashes are random, but is there any pattern to them at all, for example do they only happen in a certain world on a certain lot or when sims are doing a specific tasks?

Please also list the full specs of this computer: everyting under About This Mac including the OS and except for the serial number.  I would like to know whether iCloud Drive is syncing Documents as well.  Open System Settings > Apple ID > iCloud, and if the box next to iCloud Drive is checked, click Options and see whether Desktop & Documents is checked too.
